Can’t Wait to Play in My Flower Beds! I’m converting my flower beds to rock gardens this year. I think it’s time we did some more ‘yard scaping.’ Not sure the old man is going to happy with all the work it’s going to take to do what I want but the results will be cool! I’m gonna follow our progress here.

    Shawarma, Tomatoes and Rock Walls

    http://yankeebelle.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 11/ shawarma-tomatoes-and-rock-walls…

It’s been a fun weekend. Yesterday, Leslie, Jennifer and I along with a few other girls from school got together in the morning to talk about one of the girl’s experience living in the Middle East for a few years. Afterwards, we all went to Neomonde, a local Lebanese market and restaurant.

DAVID CONSTABLE’S ORGANIC FRUIT AND VEGETABLE GARDEN

    http://constablevineyards.com.au/ Journal/ 2008/ 03/ 27/ david-constable%e2%80%9…

In September 2006, I decided to build a walled, semi-commercial organic vegetable garden. Measuring 28 x 14 metres, it was in two parts. The first part was designated for soft fruit such as raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and gooseberries.

Sigh. Life just keeps going on. More good weather. It’s getting to be that time of the year. I went to Laurelhurst Park to watch the boys with their shirts off and read a book. I’m getting started on something new.

Successful gardeners know about their soil

    http://www.gardening-resources.com/ the-genesis-of-soil/

Successful gardeners know about their soil Soil primarily had its beginning from rock together with animal and vegetable decay, if you can imagine long stretches or periods of time when great rock masses were crumbling and breaking up. Heat, water action, and friction were largely responsible for this.

    Hordiculture’s Mission Statement

    http://hordiculture.pingnotes.us/ ?p=18

Well, sort of. We’re a casual guild, so we’re not going to get too hardcore about who and what we are. That way leads to excessive silliness. However, in light of how our garden is growing so fast (with new members popping up like weeds. The pretty kinds that are really wildflowers.), there’s a few things I think we should state up front.
