Ron Weasley is Harry Potter's best friend. He is the sixth of seven children, and is the youngest son. Ron comes from a very poor family, and is used to not having anything new. He met Harry when on the train to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy when both boys were 11 years old.
