Run

A form of exercise that increases the heart rate significantly and builds leg muscles is the run. Before a run is attempted, it is advisable to take part in stretching exercises so the activity does not result in serious strain or injury.

Individuals that like to run often do so as part of a structured regimen, and some get to the point of such an enhanced awareness, that they can readily determine what they consider to be adverse bodily changes when they miss multiple runs or slack off in some manner.

Benefits of a run include increased circulation, more energy, clarity of thought, developed musculature (over time), a release of the body’s mood-enhancing endorphins, and an overall feeling of well being and accomplishment.

Marathon runners enjoy an even greater sense of fulfillment, having discipline to the degree necessary to push themselves daily towards goals that both increase their endurance and strengthen their character. Their journey through training all the way through to the big race and ultimately the finish line brings them an unparalleled heightened satisfaction.
