Capitol Reef National Park, Utah May 7th, 2008 Have been visiting Capitol Reef National Park in Utah the past few days. Stayed in their campground for two days (second picture), but have retreated to a private campground to recharge my rv and all my electronics. The park campground has no hookups.

On the Pacific coast there are also good opportunities to wet wade and fish the more tropical rivers for Machin, Snook, Drum, Machaca and Guapote using light tackle. Pacific fly fishing has been very good along the Central and Northern coast, with lots of success on Sailfish, Marlin, Giant Tuna and Dorado.

Just this morning I was giving readers the low, low-down on the latest political midnight dealings that will result in the slaughter of over 1,100 deer and elk on Santa Rosa Island, part of the Channel Islands National Park.
