Scam

Tag details

A scam is a confidence scheme to fraudulently extract money or other valuables by promising to deliver some false claim in return for payment. While there seems to be no end to the types of scams, scams tend to focus on the elderly, people in need (the sick looking for treatment), or people's vanity (diet and cosmetics).

The best prevention for scams is to be a critical shopper. If it looks too good to be true it probably is; when it comes to diet and fitness there are no easy solutions. Supplements, herbal additives and medical prescriptions have long been used for dieters; but before you buy the Acai berry diet wonder pills or green tea miracle weight loss tablets; talk to your doctor, nutritionist or weight loss specialist about how that supplement might affect you, your specific health history and current medical prescriptions.

There are plenty of blogs related to scams. Some blogs talk about avoiding scams, while others even teach various scams. Some blogs are scams. The best way to avoid a scam is to do due diligence when purchasing and understanding that if it's too good to be true, it probably is!
