The Hyper-Sensitive Hippie as Cuckolding Antagonist

    http://www.darrenbarefoot.com/ archives/ 2008/ 05/ the-hyper-sensitive-hippie-as…

As I mentioned, I recently saw “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”. It followed a plot trend that I’ve observed over the past decade in movies: average guy gets dumped for a long-haired, flouncy-shirt-wearing musician (or music lover). Consider these three examples. They’re slightly variations, but they amount to the same thing.

    All Creatures Great and Small

    http://kgmom.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ all-creatures-great-and-small.html

When PBS began running the series "All Creatures Great and Small," I was an immediate fan. I just loved this charming series, gleaned from tales of a Yorkshire country veterinarian, James Herriot. Each week, we were treated to a new animal story intertwined with the human stories of Herriot, the two Farnon brothers--Siegfried and Tristan--with whom he worked, and the people of Yorkshire.

    Find Your Spot

I love checking out assessment sites.  This is one of my all time favorites.  Grab a cup of tea or a glass of wine and discover what’s important to you in a place to live.  Even if you’re not considering a move at this time the quiz will give you a different perspective on what you value.  Read what

    Try Try again

    http://lizbiz.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 13/ try-try-again/

Hi Folks Yesterday I wrote a long post and intended to insert some photos but the dark deity of IT wouldn’t let me - no matter how hard I tried. So - I’m going to try again. I’m very persistent. And - the sun is shining on Ballinamore today. The birds aren’t just twittering - they are trilling liquid sound.

Top Sites, Drums, & Chemical Spills

    http://nofearman.com/ 2008/ 05/ 12/ top-sites-rock-band-and-chemical-spills/

Well, let’s start this out right shall we? I no longer take part in the topsitesamerica.com Top Site list since I’ve come to know that it is a sham. Ever since Castle No Fear got pegged with an unfair Page Rank 0 Penalty (although I think it’s because I changed hosts back in February and Google just

    Intersections

When you live without a car as I do here in Japan, you pay a lot of attention to the weather. What the weather is doing makes about a forty-minute difference in what time I leave my apartment to get to work. It makes a difference in what I wear (all the way down to my shoes), how I pack my book-bag, and what I carry.

    My iPod, My Movies

    http://amabute.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 12/ my-ipod-my-movies/

Last week, I decided to put some movies in my iPod video. I love watching movies! I’d like to watch these movies especially if I get bored in the middle of the traffic: License to Wed (Robin Williams, Mandy Moore) - This is a comedy with a touch of politics and religion movie.

6 degrees of separation - not.

    http://lizbiz.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 12/ 6-degress-of-separation-not/

A week ago today my dear friend Pat finished her 3 day visit to Ballinamore and flew home to Boston. We have known each other for over 12 years and met when she was visiting Dublin for work in Peace Watch - an organisation she formed during the troubles in the north.
