Shahrukh Khan

Shahrukh Khan colloquially known as "King Khan" by the Bollywood industry has gained worldwide attention among media and the blogging community for his looks, his talent, his influence, his new business ventures, and at times his love and hate relationships with other celebrities in the industry. Every step he takes becomes a news headline and is discussed avidly by his fans and critics, in the blogging community.   

Khan started his career with tv roles but rose to stardom not for his role as a "Hero" but for the evil character played by him in the movie "Darr". He was selected twice as "Sexiest Man in Asia" by Jade Magazine and Eastern Eye in 2001 and 2007, respectively. Newsweek has named him as one of the 50 most powerful people in the world. Shahrukh has been the recipient of sixty two local awards and has received Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Government. A life-size wax statue of Khan stands tall at the Madame Tussuad Wax Museum, London.

"Red Chillies Entertainment" owned by him and his wife Gauri Khan has been in the news for the launch of his cricket team "Kolkata Knight Riders", to participate in the IPL (Indian Premier League).
