I just recently returned from a business trip to Columbus, OH. In no particular order, I had these thoughts. 1. Isn’t it nuts that you used to be able to smoke on planes? Now that it’s been years since you’ve been able to smoke on planes, isn’t it nuts that they keep spending so much time telling us we can’t smoke on planes?

I exited the store today, after some retail therapy, new blue jeans in a bag, and to my delight, saw another smoker just outside. Thus, I expressed said delight, as I am wont to do. “Ah!” said, I with said delight.

Wonder no more - Heart break, pain and lost love … popular song themes. Could some of our favorite songs really be about quiting smoking or some other addictive substance? I’ve never actually made a song by myself, truth be told. I’ve only created bits and pieces of songs but the only thing stopping me is … something to write about.

Super High Me (a play on Morgan Spurlock’s documentary Super Size Me) stars comedian Doug Benson. Benson is no regular comedian though, he is also High Times Stoner of the Year (for ‘06). To “study” (used loosely) the effects of marihuana, Benson smoked it daily for 30 days, after going 30 days without any marihuana, and comparing results.
