Social Media

According to one definition, social media "describes the online tools that people use to share content, profiles, opinions, insights, experiences, perspectives and media itself, thus facilitating conversations and interaction online between groups of people."

With the rapid adoption of social media by businesses, there is an ever-growing focus on social networking services like Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, as well as the plethora of other social networks, and how to use them most effectively. There are several blogs by everyday power users of social media that cover this topic, providing valuable insights and recommendations about using and measuring the effectiveness of this versatile tool.

Whether you want to increase awareness or drive traffic to your website, landing page, free report, or simply network with other like-minded folks, social media can be a beneficial tool in your marketing arsenal.

Social media may not be for everyone, so if you're thinking of trying it out, do a little research first to determine if it's a good fit for you and your business. And don't be afraid to get your feet wet - sometimes that's the best way to judge things for yourself.
