One place where this tag is extremely popular is an online community called TeachFor.Us, the site for Teach For America blogs by Teach For America teachers. This community is recognized by Teach For America as the independent blog community for the teachers.

Teach For America is a US-based nonprofit focused on closing the achievement gap in education. Teach For America was started as the senior thesis of Wendy Kopp while at Princeton. Today Teach For America is one of the largest employers of recent college graduates. Teach For America teachers, or corps members, teach in underserved school districts around the country. The belief is that one day, all children will be able to receive an excellent education.
