Teachers

Tag details

Usually found in schools, colleges and universities a teacher is a person who takes the knowledge they have of a particular subject (for example horses or weddings) and passes that information on to those who wish to learn it. They will do this through vocal and visual communication mainly in groups, although sometimes there is a need for a teacher to spend their time teaching just one person, in this instance the teacher is referred to as a tutor. This is an occupation that requires the ability to communicate with a variety of people, and within a variety of ethnic groups.

Teacher Lingo is a site dedicated to the posts of teachers. The site offers logs about methods of teaching, as well as tips on how to control the more lively classes a teacher may encounter. Well laid out but also straight to the point, it has no frills but then again it needs none.
