I ran in the Cold Turkey 6K Run yesterday. I woke up to see that it was raining - perfect weather for running (please note sarcasm).

Comcast SportsNet Bay Area will broadcast the 2008 RCP Tiburon Mile four separate times in November and December. The first broadcast of this annual event will be at 7 pm PT on Thursday, November 27, 2008. The other three broadcasts will be on Monday, December 1st at 6 pm PT, on Tuesday, December 9th at 6:30 pm PT and on Sunday, December 14th at 5 pm PT.

I went to my mailbox today to find an early birthday gift from John Mayer. For.real. I just received this deck of John Mayer playing cards: Thanks John - really - you are the best! I know if you could have, you would have hand delivered them but it was thoughtful of you to even remember that it was my birthday!

I won't do a play by play of the game. I will just give you the highlights: UTAH 48 - BYU 24. It was awesome. Max Hall (the quarterback for BYU) was the best Ute player ever. I think he forgot that he was playing for BYU cause he kept throwing the ball to Utah. We kept scoring when he did.

For those of you new to the blog you might be wondering if I have some sick shark fascination - and where it came from. The answers are: yes I do and because Tiburon (which really is my name) means "shark" in Spanish. And the blog title came from my kids.

Last night Ethan and I had the honor of attending the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes Awards Banquet. I didn't go to last years banquet - so this was my first time. They sure went all out! It was at the downtown Marriott and they had the ballroom decked out. The theme for this year was "Say Aloha to Diabetes" so everything was Hawaiian themed.
