May 10, 2008 Mother’s Day is tomorrow, May 11, 2008; and shoppers are gearing up for the upcoming holiday. To help retailers of all sizes, the National Retail Federation (NRF) recently released its 2008 Mother’s Day Consumer Intentions and Actions Survey, conducted by BIGresearch, showcasing positive results for the holiday.

I finally got a day off to go fishing. My computer here at work got a nasty bug that took the tech guy all day to fix. So I took the day off and went fishing. I caught two really nice small mouth bass and I can’t count how many crappie and blue gill. Oh and two catfish.

Faux cakes never looked so good. Towels that you can use when the smile has faded and the tears come... Or simply, To wipe that smirk off your face. (At least there's no cream...) LOL Jokes aside, perfect gifts. :) 0 percent Fat. 100 percent Cotton !!! Q

Only nineteen days away from the year’s greatest day, Towel Day is set to be big this year as it’s the 30th Anniversary of Hitchiker’s Guide To The Galaxy, the book that began it all. Galactic Hitchiker’s around the world will carry their towel’s for a day in honour of the great Douglas Adams.

I must send my thanks to whoever sent me the one about cockroach eggs in the glue on envelopes because I now have to use a wet towel with every envelope that needs sealing.

Ok once again this week has been great! I got moved into my new house. I still have a lot of things to unpack and find places for but I love it! Last night I was putting together one of the end tables I told you I got in the $50 experiment. I’m glad nobody was there to see me.
