Treatment

Treatment is usually taken to mean a type of therapy used to remedy a health or medical problem or can even be experimental treatment. It can be used to cover a large number of topics including acne, hair loss, arthritis, cancer and even colon related health and wellness issues. But the word treatment can be used to cover many other topics too.

Water treatment is the process used to make water safe for drinking as well as for industrial processes, medical and other uses. The processes for water treatment include using solids separation for settling and filtration and chemicals for disinfection and coagulation. Biological processes are also used in the treatment of waste water with aerated lagoons, activated sludge or slow sand filters.

A treatment facility is a place for the treatment and rehabilitation of substance abuse addicts.
