Clad in my Faded Glory t-shirt, blue jean shorts and navy blue houseshoes I grab my camera and zoom in. I wonder what it's like to be that hungry as I snap pictures of the turkey vultures gliding in and out of my frame.

IDOT: Less roadkill to be picked up along highways

Why I say that is because it would not look good to the tax payers for that state and to the tourists that go through that state to see rotting roadkills laying along the highway.

They feast almost exclusively on the carcass of dead animals - ugh!Beautiful in flight, up close - not so much!!!These were flying above some penned in chickens at a neighboring home.

They hunch in the topmost branches of nearby cottonwood trees, surveying the streets and, I assume, tallying all the cats and small dogs in the area.
