   The Wishcamper Center on the University of Southern Maine - Portland campus is home to the Muskie School of Public Service, among other things I assume. It was recently opened and I think it turned out pretty well. Some neat facts about the building can be found here, such as:-The building is heated and cooled by geo-thermal energy from wells drilled 1,500 ft.

   Canon lense quality

   SLR Gear has a good analytic review set for lenses. Canon is a focus here, but they have Nikon too of course. Unlike many reviews, this one is quite quantitative with good recommendations for what aperture and focal length to use for maximum sharpness: Canon EF 100-400mm F/4.5-5.6L IS USM.

   This is my standard kit lens, EF-S 17-85mm F4-5.6 IS USM. A pretty versatile lens, I would say, albeit a little slow but with my Canon Speedlite 580 EXII, it’s not much of a problem. However, just when I needed it the most for my up-coming “project”, it has to fail on me by giving me this error message.

   I went to Bangladesh with to of my photographer freinds , it was first time for me to go on a photography trip , even though it was a very hard trip but we enjoyed every minute during this trip , we start our day from 5 AM and we finish our day by 10 PM . I hope you like the pictures .

    Image courtesy of DPReview.com Nikon has just announced a new lens, the Nikkor AF-S 50mm f/1.4G that replaces the previous generation Nikkor AF-S 50mm f/1.4D. Essentially this new lens, with the designation of G, means it does not have an aperture ring making it useless for manual focus cameras but will now be able to autofocus with the D40 and D60 SLRs.
