Film Review: Ultimate Avengers
http://threevue.com/ 2008/ 10/ 04/ film-review-ultimate-avengers/I sat down and watched The Ultimate Avengers, a 2006 animated movie based on the 12-issue comic book series The Ultimates. It’s considered one of the better storylines in recent comic book history, and I think it’s the basis of the upcoming Avengers movie that was hinted about in both the recent Iron Man and Hulk movies.

Millar to Pen Ultimate Avengers in 2009
http://www.superheroes-r-us.com/ 2008/ millar-to-pen-ultimate-avengers-in-2009/With Jeph Loeb virtually destroying the Ultimates line in Marvel’s Ultimate universe, that leaves Ultimate Spider-Man as the best title in that line (in my opinion). Things should get much better next year when many of the Ultimate titles are canceled and replaced by an Ultimate Avengers title written by the original Ultimates creator—Mark Millar.

The art isn’t exceptional but it’s certainly serviceable. The plot and scripting though is just plain terrible. It’s barely coherent with no flow at all.
