Update
An update is the term used for a new bit of information. In one word, people know there is information being reported not available previously. This could be because the story is being developed over time. Or, the reporter may simply have left the item out. At any rate, fresh news is being shared.
Sometimes technology must be updated. New versions come out so that computers and their systems remain current. Faster and better ways to get things done are made in order to sell products.
Bloggers often use updates as a means of telling readers more about a topic placed on a post from a previous day. They have links to give a reference as to what is being discussed so the whole picture is clear.
