Yesterday the old gal made it back from the yards to a newly reconstructed Pier 86 in New York Harbor, and we wish we were there to salute her. We will be back there Veteran’s Day for the formal celebration.

America's White Table by Margot Theis Raven was actually recommended to me by a colleague. I read it and loved it!This book is a perfect tribute to Veterans of all wars.
