A few news sources are misreporting Ron Paul’s e-mail from last Friday. The presidential campaign is not ending, not being suspended, and not even drawing down. It’s slimming down and ramping up — with over twenty states having already voted, we’ve shed staff, and we’re concentrating financial and organization resources on the remaining states.

If you are a major network and want to 'target' gun owners and gun dealers in a story, what would you do? Why you would write a story about a gun dealer offering a steep discount on firearms for college students, and then only interview the dealer and those who oppose his business and his special offer.

Update: Authorities say that students can return to class at Malcolm X college. source Malcolm X College was evacuated and closed today due to threats found written on a bathroom wall. On Friday St. Xavier College closed indefinately due to threats found written on a bathroom wall and four other public and parochial schools in the vicinity have closed as a precaution.

I remember how shocked I was when while deployed to Kosovo I learned of the Virginia Tech massacre. I remember being even more shocked when someone pulled up an old blog post of mine from the previous year that essentially predicted the tragedy.
