Finally, images and video of the real life version of the WALL-E robot from the Pixar/Disney summer animated feature in action. This photo and video was taken on an excursion in Los Angeles. WALL-E is going to be huge as even this version is too cute.

  Thinkway’s WALL-E action figures have begun to hit Toys ‘R Us stores nationwide (although I’m told they aren’t supposed to street until next month). MWCToys has gotten their hands on a few of the figures in the set. The figures range from three to  five inches in size, and retail for around $6.

It is a Wall-E world we’ll soon be living in it … you might’ve heard of a company named Disney and a company named Pixar … apparently, they are releasing a film on June 27, 2008 and I suppose if you’re the kind of film-goer who likes plot, well written characters, humor, drama, pathos, dialogue, editing and dazzling animation … you might like this film.

After hundreds of lonely years of doing what he was built for, WALL-E (short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) discovers a new purpose in life (besides collecting knick-knacks) when he meets a sleek search robot named EVE.

Want to watch the Wall-E movie before it comes out on June 27th? The San Francisco Film Society is offering a special screening on JUNE 7TH. Tickets are $100 for members, $125 for the general public, and $250 for VIP. Tickets include the screening and a reception.

While Iron Man may have crushed Speed Racer in last week’s box office grand prix, the man in metal will most likely be slain handily by Disney’s family fantasy adventure The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. The early numbers are not always right, but they were right on the money last week when they predicted a slow start for Speed Racer.
