I am a busy woman these days. I mean I am maniacally busy. A new writing project (one with incredible national and international implications) has just reared its head–details to follow–and I’ve got ongoing projects and assignments that still require weekly input. Not to mention updating this bitch… er…blog.

Overweight and Desperate A fellow was ordered to lose 75 pounds, due to VERY serious health risks. As he wondered how in the heck he would ever do it, he ran across an ad in the newspaper for a guaranteed weight loss program.

Remember how betheboy saved me while Greta’s on vacation. She’s got the nerve to still be on vacation. Well it turns out betheboy has a gorgeous wife who writes The Slack Daily and she has given me great motivation to get back to spinning class. Take a read! And thank you Slack Mistress.

So against my better judgment I ate at a chain buffet “restaurant” (aka, HELL HOLE) today.  My son really wanted to go, and it’s his birthday in a few days, so what could I say?  I tried to convince him it would be a gross spot to dine, but he had his heart set on ponying up to a trough.

Teamwork. That’s what it’s all about.

This hit the news last week. Scientists have discovered a so-called workout pill. The pill has only been tested on mice but it burns calories, reduces fat, AND when the mice do workout they’re beasts. I mean like they rule the treadmill because of one little pill. It’s called AICAR.

Setting:In Greta and Kiki’s respective suburban homes. A phone rings. Greta: What are you doing? Kiki: Um, did you see our blog traffic? Your post on how your knuckle looks like Jonathon Winters is really popular. Greta:Buddy Hackett my knuckle looks like Buddy Hackett. Kiki: Right.
