    Low Fat Blueberry Scones

    http://downhomedieting.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 08/ 09/ low-fat-blueberry-scones/

Man, I am really procrastinating on my sisters slideshow (see previous post).  I watched almost two hours of Olympic rowing and made scones to get out of it.  Time to bite the bullet though now.  Well after I finish blogging Speaking of biting….these are worthy of just that.  They are a-m-a-z-i-n-g!

    Apple Crisp Cake

    http://downhomedieting.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 08/ 08/ apple-crisp-cake/

After making chili yesterday, I’ve been on a bit of a fall kick.  So today I decided to experiment with a few different recipes and came up with Apple Crisp Cake.  It’s divine.  Literally, straight from the Lord.

Ask the Doc? No, Actually, I don't.

    http://onceuponadiet.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 08/ ask-doc-no-actually-i-dont.html

Jennette of Half of Me asks if her readers consult a doctor for diet advice.Nope. I only volunteer my diet details if she asks, and she normally only asks if my CBC or lipid panel has something out of range. (Last year, she was worried I was eating too much protein or doing extreme low-carb due to weight loss with higher cholesterol and elevated liver enzymes.

Royal Fatfighting Tournament Tools: #2--Accepting the Unmerciful Numbers

    http://onceuponadiet.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 08/ royal-fatfighting-tournament-tools-…

Yesterday, Diets in Review's Brandi hosted an interview with that lovely fatfighter Roni of Roni's Weigh blog. In it, Roni addresses some of the frequently asked questions about the Weight Watchers program. Here is a portion of that which ALL of us who have been used to EATING LARGE, as evidenced by our BEING LARGE, need to read.

    Under / Over

    http://www.scalewhore.com/ ?p=2569

I went over points today by 6.5 and had to dip into the flex’s - but I did that on purpose in that I had pasta in the fridge from Monday and I didn’t want to waste it. I got in 6 cups of water today, better than yesterday’s 4! Tomorrow I have lunch with my old co-workers and we are going to East Side Mario’s (italian) and I plan to have a salad and maybe a sandwich (half of one).

    6.5 Too Low…Um, Okay

    http://www.scalewhore.com/ ?p=2565

The only thing about Weight Watchers that I don’t agree with is that 2 cups of salad is zero points, or that a large 1/2 of a tomato is zero ponts, or my cucumber is zero points. At least give me one! LOL - I mean I just cooked up a 6pt Smart Ones meal so that I can get in at least 18.5 points for the day - my allotment is 23!!

Do You Want Kindness or the Truth?

    http://www.scalewhore.com/ ?p=2564

The scale threw back 174.2lbs back at this morning and honestly I was not surprised. My clothes do not fit right, my boobs are HUGE and I have no waist, I’m tubular! LOL. But, I didn’t let that get to me, I just got off the scale and noted I had a lot of work to do.
