Windows Live
In late 2005, Microsoft released dozens of services for its users under one name, Windows Live.
With this overriding name in place, Microsoft has been able to first re-brand older services to fit inside the Windows Live umbrella, then develop other products which integrate easily with the new and old services provided by the multimedia giant. Some of the products which fall under this heading include: Windows Live Account, Windows Live Gallery, Windows Live Hotmail, and Windows Live OneCare, and Windows Live Photos.
Other categories of services Microsoft under this brand name include products for the mobile user, software support, themes, and Live Labs.
