advent

Tag details

Advent is a term used to describe a new form which can change the way something current works. For example, the Internet might be said to be an advent of new technology which has increased the capacity of computer savvy persons to communicate. Blogs are popping up all over the place in terms of a business model. Ad placements generate money for the poster. Even typical websites sometimes allow writers to earn income by maintaining blogs.

The Internet has had an advent of its own on a daily basis as new systems force change at a fast rate. Platform growth means improvements are often made to already current methods of function. Cars may be unlocked by pressing a button rather than using a key. Television can be watched on refrigerators. One just has to choose the style right for himself.

Musicians benefit greatly from advents as well. YouTube gives them a potential for a fanbase far beyond crowds in typical venues. Cellphone cameras send instant video from a concert to friends and family via an email. Official websites can now announce the release of fresh selections with the creation of Twitter and Facebook, among other methods.
