Why do women always lie about their age? The public at large seems to be so fixated on the Fountain of Youth, that some are tempted to fabricate how old they are so as to be looked upon in a more positive light.

Some cultures place more value on age, equating it with wisdom. Isn't it funny that the old wish to be young, and the young wish to be old? If there was a "stay put" age what would it be?


Age has somehow morphed into being synonymous with beauty, but we have learned that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And you have probably seen the questionnaires that say your chronological age and your biological age are two very different things altogether.

Maybe people are afraid to age because each day brings us closer to the grave. That could be why when they sign up for a dating service: people search age and pictures first, to know how long they'll get to spend with a new partner before the bucket's kicked.
