Ordered a couple of DVD’s from Best Buy yesterday, for the convenience of not having to contend with traffic, I used the Internet. I don’t know why, just thought it would be easier than driving out to the store. Next time, I will drive out to the store.

My laptop is on the fritz…well, not the computer itself, but the ac adapter. The laptop was plugged into the kitchen outlet and as my child and I began to enter the kitchen we hear a “pop, crackle, crackle”, and then see smoke coming from the adapter.

That's me, all right. Here's the thing. I don't expect perfection from people. I expect competence, and really, not even total complete competence. For example, I would not expect a surgeon to be a competent carpenter. I would not expect a carpenter to be a competent doula.
