Popular Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was born on November 1st, 1973 in Mangalore, Karnataka, India. Aishwarya first gained international notoriety after winning the prestigious Miss World competition in 2004. She has since become one of the most popular stars of India's huge film industry known as Bollywood.

Aishwarya's incredible acting resume includes roles in productions like: Bride & Prejudice (2003), The Mistress Of Spices (2005), The Last Legion (2007) and The Pink Panther 2 (2009) alongside funnyman Steve Martin.

Affectionately dubbed "The Queen of Bollywood," Aishwarya Rai married fellow Indian actor Abishek Bachchan on April 20, 2007 in Mumbai.
