Anal, by definition is a word pertaining to the anus or the area surrounding the anus.


Anal is often used as a slang term meaning uptight or tense in any particular situation.

When the word "anal" is used in reference to a type of sexual position, it means when the penis enters the anus of the intended partner.

Although considered a sin in the bible, anal sex has become more socially acceptable over the last few decades in all types of healthy relationships. The anus itself was not intended to have penile penetration and therefore anal sex can be very painful, even when using lubrication.
