Next week's E3 week update should be a big one with Elefunk joining PSN's excellent selection of downloadable games, along with several videos -- and hopefully some demos -- from the show.

Ape Escape 3 continues to elaborate upon the core theme of the Ape Escape series: capturing monkeys. Although staying faithful to the originality of this hit franchise, Ape Escape 3 brings additional advances to the Ape Escape series.

Bought this at the weekend (although not for me), and gave it a quick go this evening. It's... very odd. You play noughts and crosses, with each square being a monkey-infested minigame. Kind of like single-player Mario Party. With monkeys.

If you browse over to the PlayStation Store for PC right now, you’ll see that a bunch of new content has been added this week. Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee (which you can also download through your PS3) is now available for $10.99, and a demo of Flat Out: Head On (also downloadable through PS3) can be found, too.

Following a supremely lackluster update to the store last week, PSP owners can browse over to the PlayStation Store for PC and find two new downloadable games – flOw ($7.99) and Ape Escape: On the Loose ($14.99). Not too shabby, although the price of flOw seems several dollars too much when you take certain things into account.

This week’s PlayStation Store update is definitely a step up from last week, which brought no playable content whatsoever. Kicking off the weekly round of additions is a free demo of Capcom’s recently released PS3 PSN shooter Rocketmen: Axis of Evil. Joining Rocketmen are downloadable game titles flOw and Ape Escape: On the Loose for PSP.
