The theme on Gothic Arches this week is Turquoise. I covered my arch in K & Co. Hannah paper, and stamped the background with a script stamp in Broken China Distress Ink. I added an image of a lady wearing a turquoise-ish dress, and stamped a word and embossed and edged it with Gold Krylon, as I did the edge of the arch too.

I started off this week with the idea of a Sky theme but I didn't fancy pointing my electronic camera upwards in the heavy rain that fell all day Friday so there's an odd one at the end!Monday - grey all day but then the sun came out long enough to do this.

Washington Mutual's Problem Resolution Center called and left a message. I called back. And left a message. I've no clue as to which of the Washington Mutual Problem's the caller was seeking to resolve. Right now I don't care.Instead I'm in the mood to muse as to where I'd like to go to escape here, someplace fun that I've already been to and know is fun.

Seems like an age since I posted a card on here due to my being away for over a week. This is one I created tonight for our son John whose birthday is on the 3rd. As he lives in York I thought the sentiment on the stamp, from Stamps Happen, was appropriate.

This arch is for the open theme from Gotic Arch and the new theme “Birds” from Craftaway a Sunday.

There is no particular theme at Gothic Arches this week, so I decided to use this black frame I cut out from a magazine. I wanted to use it, so I came up with this archangel. A little play on words — it's an arch and there's an angel. (I can hear the groans!) Once again I turned to that book of French plays and cut out the word, l'archange.
