arthritis
Arthritis is a group of medical conditions involving the joints of the body. Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis, is the result of trauma or infection to the joint or from age. Rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis are both related to autoimmune deficiencies where the body attacks itself. All forms of arthritis include pain, the patterns and degree of intensity varies from type and patient. Rheumatoid arthritis tends to be more painful in the morning and in early stages pain may be reduced or eliminated with a morning shower. Arthritis treatment may include physical or occupational therapy, medication or dietary changes. Joint replacement surgery may be called for in some cases. In general, exercise seems to improve the pain relief process.
Arthritis blogs may include support groups, question and answer areas and information about the success of pharmaceuticals and therapies. Health Central has an informative blog on Rheumatoid arthritis.
