Morning Skating Fans, This past weekend we were treated to an array of children, teen and beginner events which were interesting from the standpoint of where the sport is going. This year skaters were allowed if they qualified to challenge up to the next level event at Nationals.

Afternoon Sportfans and Skaters– Yesterdays events began with the kids figures and Open Loops. I did not get to watch much of it live, but recorded it for posterity and reviewed the files.  On review it was interesting at the difference in quality of the boys figures vs how tough the girls competition is to come.

Last night prior to the evening events beginning USA Rollersports hand out the 2008 Annual Roller Figure Skating Awards. While at the moment I do not have the entire list of Awards at the moment, a couple special ones are worth noting: Hall of Fame Award Winner for 2008: Warren Danner of Highland Heights, KY.

Morning again Skating Fans, Yesterday was the Day Four of World Class Competition at the US Roller Nationals. However the day began with Practice for all the kids events until 6:30PM, so there was no webcast until the evening events.

Afternoon again Skating Fans, Today was the second full day of World Class Competition at the US Roller Nationals. Because I have a life and needed to get some other things done, I wasn’t able to watch all the World Class Senior Figures today as I normally would have been.

I was up fairly early this morning to watch the webcast of the World Class Junior and Junior School Figures. Morning Skating Fans: Last night kicked off the USA Rollersports webcast of the 2008 US National Roller Figure Skating Championships, live and direct from Perishing Auditorium. While finding the link for the webcast is like searching for a needle in a haystack, you can go directly to the webcast by linking to http://www.tvmr.com/USARS-NET.html.

Hi there! With 2008 USA Rollersports National Championships just around the corner I know there will be more of you paying attention here– so welcome to all the skaters, friends and skating alumni who make the annual trek for the latest news and information I can extract for everyone.

  Friends, Romans, Skaters,…. Coaches, Parents, and Family.… It’s about that time of year– It appears that the live feed for the 2008 Nationals is going online, but it’s not going to be exactly like last year.  It appears that Television Mobil Sales, the company who tapes Nationals will be hosting the feed directly.
