There really is something for everyone, but too many hard choices must be made. My Morning Jacket or Nas & Talib Kweli is an impossible dilemma.

    Trail Of Dead Speak Their Mind

    I posted this YouTube video awhile back while discussing a rumor that And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead might be a yet to be announced artist for this year’s Fx3 Fest. I knew that the band was scheduled to record their upcoming release with Mike McCarthy and was surprised to hear that they had begun sessions with “Frenchie” Smith over at The Bubble.

    Lions Lions…we love ‘em cuz they bring the rock and they’re hometown boys. Toadies…are back with a new album hitting legal on August 19th. The two are poised to tear up the road with a blaze of adrenaline fueled rock, making a stop here in Austin, @ Stubb’s.

    Austin’s own Shearwater put on two special performances to celebrate the release of the critically acclaimed Rook, in which they performed the album in it’s entirety accompanied by a string section. One performance took place here in Austin and the other took place @ New York City’s Florence Gould Auditorium.
