WHAT'S BLOOMING in CP
http://souvenirsart.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ whats-blooming-in-cp.htmlThis is a perfect Spring. By that I mean perfect conditions for growing. Everything is large and full of color. All our city plants look positively corn-fed. I'm not sure what combination of conditions have brought this about, but I'm using my crappy point and shoot to get it all down.

Azaleas and Dogwoods
http://myvideoportal.blogspot.com/ 2007/ 10/ azaleas-and-dogwoods.htmlGallery 4 There are several flowering bushes that are really pretty when bloomed out in the spring. Two of them are azaleas and dogwoods. Azaleas are in several colors but mostly reds, whites and pinks. Dogwoods are mostly whites and pinks. These photos were taken in the spring of 2008 at the azalea festival in Tupelo, MS.

The National Aboretum
http://aussie-emjay.vox.com/ library/ post/ the-national-aboretum.htmlThe National Arboretum is a wonderful space of 446 acres with 9.5 miles of roadway wandering through it. It is right here in Washington DC - but you really need a car to get to it. This last weekend we rented a car and visited on Saturday to see the azaleas which were in their flowering peak.

Rain Soaked Azaleas
http://photo.wordsarenotenough.com/ 2008/ 05/ rain-soaked-azaleas/While in exile from New Orleans after Katrina from late-2005 through mid-2006, I stayed with my parents in Mobile, Alabama. Mobile is the one true Azalea City, and my folks’ backyard is no exception. Copyright © 2008 words are not enough | the photo room.
