How the @$#! did bacon come to be trendy? It's not clear what concurrence of events and flavors led to the current popularity of fried pork strips, but one thing is abundantly clear: lots of people are totally into bacon.

Maybe it's the incomparable odor and flavor, or the crispiness, or the absolute unhealthiness of this disgustingly delectable food. Perhaps it's the stigma placed on it by certain religions whose adherents abstain from eating pork. It could even be aesthetic attraction to the red-and-white pattern of bacon strips. One way or another, bacon is all over your internet.

The blogosphere abounds with bacon recipes, bacon-themed events, strange bacon-based products, comprehensive bacon guides, even things constructed out of bacon strips. So whether you love to hate it, hate to love it, or just want to eat as much as you can stomach, you're bound to find inspiration right on this very tag page. Have at it, bacon-ados!
