A claypot of piping hot BKT to start the day...Ah Sang's BKT soup was quite thick and had a very strong herbal flavour.

Xin Chen Bak Kut Teh @ VivoCity
http://singapuradailyphoto.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 08/ xin-chen-bak-kut-teh-vivocity…This was last Sunday's lunch. A quick grab of food at the Food Republic Food Court. Our little cousin and I had the same thing. She wanted to eat Bak Kut Teh, but 'dare not' go buy food herself. Why? Where we are sitting is at the other side and the 'scary cat' inside her took over. LOL...

Saturday Wrap-Up
http://thefinethings.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 07/ 26/ saturday-wrap-up/Since MIL spent her weekend at BIL, we decided to dine out. We had Yu Kee’s famous Bak Kut Teh at Jalan Gaya. Ian was quite selective – he only took rice with meat balls. lots of soup and later on drank lots of tea! Bak Kut Teh served here is real tasty, probably because of MSG overload!

Hokkien-style Bak Kut Teh at Bedok Corner
http://www.camemberu.com/ 2008/ 07/ hokkien-style-bak-kut-teh-at-bedok.htmlBedok Corner is not all about Malay food, of course. Right across from the Muslim stalls is probably one of the most non-halal of Chinese dishes - bak kut teh (pork bone tea) and pig organ soup. But warm soup is great for a cold, rainy day.
