bamboo

Bamboo is a hard, woody type of grass with a hollow stem, common to Asia and the tropics, though it can grow in a variety of climates.  It comes in many sizes and its scientific class is determined by the type of roots it has. 

With an ever-increasing outlook on the health of the stronger-than-carbon fiber, this miraculous plant, a grass, has performed under conditions of heavy stress such as riding a bicycle made of bamboo.

Serving uses ranging from complementing a dish to being carved to form audio speakers, bamboo is quickly becoming the emerging construction material of choice. The industrial demand for new, sustainable materials will continue to grow, with bamboo at the forefront.
