This significant jump from their 2006 return of $991,296 is accredited to royalties Barack has received from his two books, “Dreams From My Father” and “The Audacity of Hope” which totaled $3,943, 378.

Barack Obama, who presently is on vacation in Virgin Islands with his family, released the tax returns of his family for the last six years on Tuesday. The Democratic presidential candidate urges that his rival Sen. Hillary Clinton do the same and make her tax returns public record as well.

After losing Texas and Ohio yesterday, the Obama camp comes storming back by rehashing the whole Clinton tax return debate. Really, that’s all you’ve got, a stale piece of news that nobody really cared about in the first place? I’m finding it hard to stay interested long enough to finish this post.
