-Al-Akhbar is generaly  pro-Syrian, pro-Lebanese opposition (Hezbullah, Aoun),  pro-Secular and generally against US Foreign Policy in the region and might have an interest in highlighting the presence of radical Sunni religious groups.  That being said, the information they present suggests that Lebanon has become a way-station for Arab jihadists.
