SnapStream Adds PlaceShifting Functionality to Beyond TV 4.9 Beta

BeyondTV Adds Placeshifting

The cool thing about this is it uses Microsoft’s Silverlight for doing so. Silverlight is what powered the Olympic online coverage. If you’re not familiar with BeyondTV it is Media Center application that allows you to record TV and organize your music, movies and photos.

The attic was far enough away from everything else that the noise level on the PC didn’t matter — and that’s a good thing because as I discovered, the PC I’ve been using for Beyond TV was LOUD.
