Ah, America in the 1920’s.  The Roaring Twenties in fact. Jazz, Art Deco, Flapper Girls and the Derringer. Not the pistol, the bike. This isn’t just any bike though! This designer bike is the work of Adrian Van Anz and is based on 1920s racers, complete with leather seat, white-walled wheels and vintage-style handlebars.

The Pashley Guv’nor (ignore the dreadful name), handpicked by company to “indicate the revival of our great English bicycle heritage” is a strikingly sleek recreation of company’s ages-old Path Racer Model from the 1930’s.

Pashley Guv'nor - 1930s-style racing bike Another day, another retro bike. But with petrol prices rising rapidly, I suspect we'll all be going for two wheels soon. And if the budget stretches to it, the Pashley Guv'nor should be worth a look. It's a real eye-catcher.
