Bike Sharing - Could it work for your community or company?
http://sustainablebusinessdesign.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ bike-sharing-could-it-w…Community bicycle sharing programs are growing in response to overcrowded, inconvenient, or (in some cases) inadequate public transit systems. This "green alternative" is much cheaper than expanding or upgrading current public transit and much friendlier on the environment (and waist).

Bike Sharing - Would you do it?

Sometimes grabbing a bike is so much more convenient (and fun!) than hoping on the Metro.

Waterloo Grad Students Win $25,000 for Bike-Share Program Proposal

Three grad students, Ben Finklemen, Ben Clare and Matthew Lee have won a $25,000 prize from TD Bank’s Friends of the Environment Foundation for their proposal for a two-wheeler-share program in the Canadian "university town".
