Well, I guess it stands to reason that since I gave "birth" to my blog, that it's kinda-like my "baby", eh? And you know what? The two of us have a psychic bond! If ever there's a primal scream, I hear it. No kidding. For instance, in recent months, I have experienced a strange phenomenon.

A blogger is a human being and we belong to Earth-a place surrounded by beautiful flowers, rivers, mountains, seas, animals, insects, etc. But, how much are we responsible for our mother earth and its belongings? Do we take any green initiative to curb Global Warming? Do we take initiative for innocent animals?

Here’s a suggestion from Scott Allen for Blogger Appreciation Day ( cf: Problogger) which might make sense if being a blogger is an important part of one’s identity: Put your blog down as a separate job on your LinkedIn profile I’m going to do that today.

At the close of my previous post I encouraged all who wished to do so to write their senators and representatives to urge them to reign in U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Chertoff in his circumventing of the environmental laws that will be violated in the process of completing the construction of the Great Wall of Bush along the border between the United States and Mexico.

It's still there, showing no signs of deterioration, my humble plastic bag. In case you missed the begining of this on going little story it is to do with Blog Action Day 2007. Bloggers were asked to write about an issue that concerned the enviroment and this plastic bag was hung up on the line to deteriorate (saves space in a land fill site somewhere).

The New York Times reports that testing of racing whippets has revealed the causal agent for “bully-whippets” which are so morphologically different than their dams and sires. It seems that by crossing the fastest whippet with the fastest whippet, a breeder can “double down” on a defective myostatin gene.

So apparently I missed blog action day yesterday. Since it involved such an important topic (the environment), I figured I’d put in a late post anyways. Today I went to the CMA’s web site and completed the Do Not Contact Service registration. I’ve heard rumours that it doesn’t work very well, but hopefully it will reduce my volume of junk mail a little.

I disembark on the shores of ‘Sweet November’…A New Month…New Chapter…A New Break …when only yester month, did I only daydream of it, but now at crack of dawn, I have finally arrive…A new month… I have to say, November is close to my heart because on this exact month a year ago, I began a chapter in the World of Blogville.
