Bow hunting is without a doubt, the cruelest form of hunting in America.  Hunting with a bow and arrow is not only a retrogression to the use of weapons given up hundreds of years ago because of their inefficiency, but a retrogression to utter barbarism.

     I received an email from a listener of our podcast “Up North Journal” last night. He mentioned something that I think we could all learn from.     He had commented on how this last week when he was out in the field squirrel hunting that he heard some goose hunters about a 1000 yards away calling to some geese flying in.
