When you think of the word box, whether you are thinking of the sport of boxing or the squared or rectangular cardboard creation, the two have something in common. Wait, do they?

In the late 70's and early 80's it seemed it was every young boy's dream to drink raw eggs and get muscular so he could look and feel like Rocky Balboa who was the boxing heavyweight champion. Rocky could sure box when he needed to.

The other kind of box, the one that women have an affinity towards more than men do (because it means shopping and gifts) is the one that is usually cardboard, and can also be quite useful to pack things in when moving either across town or across the country.

People have been known to actually live in boxes. A box can actually serve to meet the most critical element of survival (even before water and food), that of shelter. It can also be used to store your possessions.

So whether you are living in a cardboard box or lying on a sofa mattress and watching Rocky reruns, the two may have some sort of weird connection — maybe the fighting instinct and the box as shelter are both related to survival. Just maybe...
