brand management
Brand management simply put, is the deliberate marketing and control of perception of a specific product or brand.
Brand management will often start with the managing and marketing of the company itself, to gain the perception of quality and good reputation in order to lead to the marketing of the specific product or brand.
The amount of quality associated with a specific brand is often perceived by the consumer based on things such as company reputation, amount of sales, and price point.
Every level of brand management is vital for marketing the product or brand, right down to the people at the customer service level of the company.
You'll find bloggers talking about brand management at sites like Brand Management World and Crossing Marketing And IT.
