brands

Brands are specific labels used to identify a product, service, or business. They are marketed and managed with very specific considerations and research based on their targeted audiences. Often times, brands are initially responded to, based on the company's reputation as far as quality of the product or service being offered. If a company markets itself well, it is easy to then market the brand under the company.

When a product does not have a specific brand name to market it, it is considered a "no name" brand. These labels are simple and labeled with plain text to keep marketing costs down. Big companies will often have their own line of no name to give consumers a more inexpensive option of their commonly purchased items.
