On the morning of Thursday May 1st, Bryan Person hosted the seventh Boston area Social Media Breakfast. This time around, the venue switched to the spacious Ryles Jazz Club in Cambridge where there was a great mix of both new and familiar faces. This month’s topic focused on hiring and getting hired in a Web 2.0 world.

At 8AM today I will be at the S&S Restaurant in Cambridge, MA to co-host "Breakfast with Jeff Pulver (and friends) in Boston", the only breakfast known for "Real-Time Social Tagging." I'm looking forward to co-hosting this breakfast together with Bryan Person and catching up with my friends from the greater Boston area.

The April 1st Breakfast with Jeff Pulver (and Friends) will be held together with Boston's "Social Media Breakfast 6" from 8-10AM the S&S Restaurant in Cambridge, MA. Bryan and I welcome our friends from the greater Boston area to join us for breakfast and great conversations.

Yesterday, after Bryan Person pointed out that there were some problems with it, I removed the FriendsRoll block from my site.  Steve, one of the developers at 76design, whipped into action and released a corrected v1.2 beta. My FriendsRoll block is back online.

Boston is a great place to be if your job revolves around social media. Each month you can count on multiple events taking place, and all of them are supported by a tight-knit bunch of social media and PR professionals. One such event is the Social Media Breakfast, which was the brainchild of Boston’s own Bryan Person.

Back in July in Tel Aviv, I hosted the first of a series of “Real-Time Social Networking” events. The premise of this event was to help my Facebook friends in Israel to network with each other. The event was a success and I decided to host more of these events in the future.
