Car Tuning is a funny set of words because if you say them both really fast it sounds like the art of drawing cartoons instead of the act of maintaining a car. And that's never not funny.

There is not a car on the street that couldn't use a tune up. Adjusting the spark plugs, replacing a loose belt, or even changing out a thermostat are all parts of car tuning that will help extend the life of the automobile and help MPG efficiency.

However, car tuning can also have another meaning. It can mean "tricking out" or making modifications to your car. This type of car tuning has become a very popular hobby around the world. Most states have a tuning community of people who just enjoy making changes to the engine, suspension, sound system, or even the body of their car.

Tuning a car takes a lot of manual labor; so if you are one of those people who gets chest pains just from answering the phone, you may want to outsource the tuning of your car to a certified auto mechanic.
